About the Journal

Proceeding Annual International Conference of Islamic Studies (AICONIS) organized by  Fakultas Ushuluddin dan Studi Agama Universitas Islam Negeri Imam Bonjol Padang, West Sumatera, Indonesia. The conference is held annually. 

  •  Proceeding 1st Annual International Conference on Islamic Studies (1st AICONIS). Islamic Psychology has contributed their knowledge to the society. So that, one of the important role is sharing ideas and information to the academic society.  The theme raised at this conference is “Islamic Psychology In Multidiciplinary Perspective. The theme was chosen to give attention to the academic world about Islamic Psychology in various multidisciplinary or scientific perspectives. This conference became one of the venues for national academics to present their research, as well as exchange information and deepen research problems, and develop sustainable cooperation. The conference was attended by researchers from various fields of science. The fields of science in question are from the Sciences of the Qur'an and Hadith, Akidah and Islamic Philosophy, Religious Studies, Sufism and Psychotherapy in order to provide thoughts for the development of Islamic Psychology as a social science globally.
  • Proceeding 2nd Annual International Conference on Islamic Studies (2nd AICONIS). Islamic and Social Changes in Southeast Asia. sub themes are: 1. Islamic thought and social change, 2. Islamic in socio-cultural discourse, 3. Islamic values from social and psychological perspectives, 4. Islam, social change, post-covid-19, 5. Regional hadith relations and interconnections, 6. Quranic ecegesis and social change, 7. Sufism and social change

These proceedings require the authors to write a full manuscript in English. The maximum tolerance of similarity score is 20%: See Plagiarism policy: Plagiarism Policy | Proceeding Annual International Conference on Islamic Studies (uinib.ac.id)
To facilitate the editors' work, submitted manuscripts are requested to follow the article template:
The manuscript must consist of a maximum of 12 pages with A4 paper size.
The deadline or submission date of the manuscript is July 10, 2022.
Acceptance Letter is given only if the author has submitted the manuscript according to the template and author guidelines. Please submit your manuscript first and then we will issue the LoA, NOT the other way around.
